What You’ll Be Doing
This isn't simply a role where you read slides to an audience. You'll guide learners through realistic promotional planning scenarios and teach the platform through practical workflows.
Participants may range from beginners to experienced users, so you'll need to adjust your approach depending on their knowledge, confidence and learning needs.
A major part of the role is helping enterprise professionals understand promotional planning concepts, terminology, processes and performance metrics in a clear and practical way.
You'll also demonstrate a proprietary tool in a live virtual environment, including adapting when the technology doesn't behave exactly as expected.

Key Accountabilities
The successful instructor will be responsible for delivering a structured training programme while keeping sessions practical, engaging and accessible.
- Deliver 30 virtual training sessions, including 10 full-day and 20 half-day instructor-led workshops.
- Lead hands-on learning experiences based on realistic promotional planning scenarios.
- Explain promotional planning concepts, terminology, processes and performance metrics clearly.
- Help establish consistent promotional terminology and processes across participating markets.
- Adapt training for complete beginners through to advanced users.
- Facilitate exercises that allow participants to actively use the tool during sessions.
- Demonstrate the client-specific proprietary tool confidently in a live virtual environment.
- Handle troubleshooting and unexpected tool behaviour when necessary.
- Explain ROI, sales lift and incrementality in practical business language.
- Help learners understand how AI-assisted recommendations can support promotional planning while reinforcing human judgement.
- Review training materials and develop talking points before initial deliveries.
- Participate in onboarding, client-specific tool training, dry runs and preparation meetings.
- Complete required technical setup activities.
- Maintain a professional and engaging presence throughout virtual sessions.

Requirements
This position combines business knowledge, presentation ability, technology confidence and hands-on facilitation. The listed requirements include:
- Background in marketing, sales, business analysis or a related field.
- Familiarity with promotional or sales planning terminology.
- Understanding of retail promotion concepts, promotion mechanics and retail sales processes.
- Ability to explain ROI, sales lift and incrementality in straightforward business language.
- Ability to learn proprietary software quickly and demonstrate it confidently.
- Comfort troubleshooting and adapting when technology behaves unexpectedly.
- Experience delivering hands-on training or workshops involving software or tools.
- Experience facilitating engaging virtual training sessions for audiences with different experience levels.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted planning tools and the difference between automated recommendations and professional judgement.
- Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership presence and confidence managing a virtual classroom or enterprise audience.

- Professionalism and reliability during full-day virtual sessions.
