Hiring: AI Wizard 🧙♂️ Build the Future with AI
Are you the kind of person who discovers a new AI tool at 2 AM and has already built something useful with it by morning? If you love automation, building apps, connecting systems and turning ambitious ideas into working products, this opportunity could be for you.
This opportunity is for a curious, hands-on builder who wants to do more than talk about artificial intelligence. You'll work directly with the founder across multiple businesses, helping turn manual processes into smarter systems and real software.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll help identify opportunities to save time, simplify work and build tools that solve real problems across different businesses.
- Build AI-powered automations that eliminate repetitive work.
- Create internal tools, dashboards and applications using AI-assisted coding.
- Connect platforms using APIs, webhooks, n8n, Make, Zapier or custom code.
- Build AI agents that can research, analyse data and complete multi-step tasks.
- Turn ideas into working prototypes using Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Replit or similar tools.
- Find opportunities to replace manual processes with smarter systems.
- Experiment with new AI tools and bring useful ideas to the team.
- Build, test, debug and improve systems until they actually work.
The goal is not simply to create impressive demos. It's to build useful solutions that work reliably and make everyday operations easier.
When showcasing a project, explain the problem, what you built, the tools you used and the result. A working demonstration can make your skills easier to evaluate than a long list of tools.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning independently and turning ideas into functional systems.
- You're genuinely obsessed with AI and technology.
- You love building things, even when nobody asks you to.
- You're the person your friends go to when something technical needs figuring out.
- You can take a vague idea and turn it into something functional.
- You're comfortable learning new tools without someone teaching you.
- You know how to use AI to solve problems, not just generate text.
- You understand how to connect different tools and make them work together.
- You're resourceful, independent and willing to experiment.
- You care about making systems reliable, not just getting a demo to work.
You don't have to know everything already. What matters is your ability to learn, experiment, solve problems and keep improving what you build.
Keep a simple portfolio of your best projects. Include screenshots, short demo videos or links to working applications, plus a brief explanation of the challenge each project solves.
Tools You Might Be Familiar With
Depending on the projects you've worked on, you might have experience with some of these tools and technologies:
You don't need to know all of them. The important thing is your ability to understand a problem, identify the right tools and make the complete solution work.
Don't try to learn every tool at once. Build one useful project, understand how its pieces connect, and explain why you chose those tools. Depth and practical problem-solving are valuable.
Experience? Not Required.
You don't need to tick every traditional box to be considered. The focus is on what you can do, how you think and what you've built.
We don't care whether you have:
- A computer science degree.
- Five years of development experience.
- A fancy CV.
- Previous employment at a tech company.
If you're self-taught, have built interesting projects and can demonstrate that you know how to make things happen, we want to hear from you.
If you're developing your skills independently, you can also explore opportunities such as frontend engineering and web development to discover other paths where technical skills can be useful.
Put relevant projects and practical skills near the top of your CV if you're early in your career. Be specific about what you personally built, rather than describing yourself only as passionate or hardworking.
This Role Is NOT For You If:
This opportunity is best suited to someone who enjoys the process of building, testing and improving real solutions.
- You only use ChatGPT to write emails and generate content.
- You watch AI tutorials but never actually build anything.
- You need someone to explain every step before you can start.
- You give up when something doesn't work the first time.
- You can create a pretty app but can't make its functionality work.
- You're not naturally curious about new technology.
You don't have to be an expert from day one. You do, however, need to be willing to experiment, troubleshoot and take ownership of the things you build.
Prepare one project you can walk through from beginning to end. Be ready to discuss what broke, how you debugged it and what you would improve next. Honest technical explanations are more useful than pretending every project was perfect.
