About the Technical Support Engineer Role

Kalepa is seeking a Technical Support Engineer with 3–5 years of relevant experience in B2B SaaS technical support, customer-facing engineering or a similar role.

You'll investigate complex issues across the company's AI underwriting platform, coordinate resolutions and help build the processes required for a high-performing support function.

You'll also work directly with enterprise clients and collaborate with Engineering, Product and Client Success to resolve problems and improve the customer experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities

What You'll Do

01. Technical Investigation & Resolution

  • Investigate reported issues across Kalepa's AI underwriting platform.
  • Own technical investigations through to resolution.
  • Identify bugs, configuration problems, user education gaps and feature requests.
  • Manage your support queue and meet response and resolution targets.

02. Customer Communication

  • Write clear, accurate and professional customer responses.
  • Resolve issues with minimal unnecessary back-and-forth.
  • Maintain consistent communication throughout the support process.

03. Engineering Collaboration

  • Create Jira tickets with complete diagnostic information.
  • Provide Engineering with the context needed to resolve confirmed bugs.
  • Identify recurring issues and share patterns with Product and Client Success.

04. Product Expertise

  • Develop expert knowledge of Kalepa's product and workflows.
  • Understand edge cases and expected product behaviour.
  • Maintain implementation knowledge for individual clients.
