Key Responsibilities

The Chinese Translator will help bridge language and communication gaps between Chinese management and Nigerian production staff. Key duties include:

  • Translate documents and interpret spoken communication between Chinese and English.
  • Interpret meetings and on-site discussions between management and production staff.
  • Facilitate communication between the Head of Production, management and workers.
  • Translate production documents, daily reports, work instructions and technical materials.
  • Assist the Head of Production in supervising daily factory activities.
  • Monitor production activities and ensure workers understand supervisors' instructions.
  • Communicate production targets, schedules and operational procedures.
  • Support production meetings, technical training and equipment instructions.
  • Help resolve communication gaps between Chinese and Nigerian staff.

Requirements and Qualifications
